I opted to sit at the bar and the woman worked the bar was super nice and welcoming. She was attentive in her service of food and drinks. “ We decided to dine early at Pita Jungle. We were the second couple in there. It was nice to have the place to ourselves because the other couple was eating on the patio. We opted to sit inside. Staff were pleasant and asked us to seat ourselves. Nice atmosphere in here. After checking the menu we decided on two orders of garlic lemon grilled chicken with pine nuts and an order of spinach pesto pizza. The order arrived quickly. The chicken is a dry rub. It was good and the flavors are strong. A small amount is really enough. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The arugula on top of the pizza was a hit as was the drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Yum!! The cheerful server cleared the table after we had finished. We enjoyed the meal! Shared parking lot and Cox WiFi for subscribers. ”
“ Hidden behind an office building in a strip shopping center across Tatum Boulevard from the Desert Ridge Marketplace, Pita Jungle offers very tasty, freshly made, and reasonably priced burgers, chicken, gyros, and vegetarian platters in a very casual ambiance. Pita Jungle specializes in providing Mediterranean, Greek, and Middle Eastern cuisine that's made with fresher ingredients and more care than typical fast food but served almost as quickly and at close to the same price point. My dining companions and I recently stopped into Pita Jungle in Desert Ridge for dinner after a long day traveling to Phoenix from the east coast. Looking for a lighter option, I tried the Mediterranean Roasted Chicken sandwich, comprised of grilled chicken breast, garlic sauce, tahini, mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles served on a pita with a side of french fries. My dining companions went for a healthier selection (as usual) and had the Falafel Bowl, featuring deep fried falafel balls, tahini, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles, over a bed of mixed greens with turmeric brown rice, cabbage-kale super greens, garlic, lemon juice, and sumac. All three of us really enjoyed our tasty, freshly cooked meals. Our server, Tom, was very personable and provided good advice to help us navigate the menu on our first visit to Pita Jungle. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Pro Tip: Pita Jungle features Happy Hour specials, including discounted adult beverages from 3pm til 6pm and discounted small plate tapas featuring with dips and sliders from 3pm til 5pm. ”
